The end of the third quarter is nearing (September 30th) and with that means the reset of The End & The Resource world. Please prepare for these resets appropriately, you might even see some new changes to The End....   Enchants: Added new Enchant for Tridents that boosts the users movement speed by 24% while holding the weapon. Quest Rewards: Added a new quest reward; a tag to apply to your chat called [Quest Master]. This is meant to give people something to grind for, so it's expensive! Once unlocked apply it in the /chat menu. Misc: Changed AFK timer from 5 to 10 minutes, kicking the user after 15 minutes total. Updated the websites rules section Updated Discord rules

Now that I'm back from vacation the updates shall resume! This update has been centered around player retention, advertising and improving information sources for the server.   Player Retention: We have a new tutorial starting area that's being worked on still, but is now fully functional! It includes new NPC's which teach new players how to play on our server. Thank you @ManicSugar for putting this together Players will start in this room, read each NPC dialouge, then walk into a portal that takes them to the main spawn house. From there, Sparky will teach the players about super important commands like /sethome, /rtp, etc.  New players CANNOT /rtp or /tpa out of this new tutorial room, they must walk into the portal before joining everyone else in survival. Advertising: I've resumed advertising on our normal platforms, but I'm including some more things to reward players for helping to grow the community! Starting today, anyone who brings a friend to the server, and that friend earns the [member] rank (6 hours of play time) 10 sparks will be awarded (premium currency). Players MUST submit a ticket with their IG name, as well as their friends IG name. You may not bring alts in an attempt to fraudulently earn Sparks - all accounts will be checked for such activity. I'm looking for someone who's savvy with video editing to post shorts on Youtube & Tiktok on the official ChargedCreeperMC social media accounts. If you're interested please send me a DM and we can discuss this arrangement further! Misc Changes: Adjusted the bedrock help menu so all text fits into the players screen, including on mobile devices. Adjusted redstone & tile entity limitations (increased) so players are less restricted on farms Bug Fixes: Fixed typo in the voting reward text Fixed the Charged Creeper Store not loading.

I’ll be returning from vacation tonight and will get started on the server again! First priorities are the new player experience / menus for the spawn. My hope is a redesign will help player retention and make the introduction to the server less confusing. My second goal is to redesign the bedrock menu so text doesn’t run off the screen. I’ll be using my phone & tablet as a reference to make sure I get it as accurate as possible

This will be the final update log for the next week & a half as I will be on vacation starting August 29th thru September 2nd. If any issues arise please make sure to fill out a trouble report and I'll fix it ASAP. Outposts: We have a new outpost! This frozen death trap comes with new lore, 2 new enchants for the Sword/Axe & Bow and even some heads from the head DB plugin as rewards! As usual, a quest has been made containing the coordinates and a lodestone has been placed near the lectern to tune your compass to the area. Enchants: Frostbite: Applies to Axes & Swords Frost: Applies to Bows Misc: We have jump pads in the server now! To make a jump pad, place a diamond, gold OR iron block on the ground, followed by a heavy pressure plate. You'll be propelled into the skies! ManicSugar has graciously added an Elytra Course to our spawn! To get started type /warps Elytra. Inventory is kept on death :)

We've got some adjustments to the Economy in this update and several new "fun" features as well as some Store updates! There's also some much needed behind the scenes work that was done to patch some long-standing bugs we've been dealing with. Store: All store packages have been moved in-game and can be accessed by typing /store. A new premium currency has been added called "sparks" and can be purchased on our store page @ shop.chargedcreeper.com Once this currency is purchased, you can spend it in-game in whatever way you see fit. One time use & packages that assign new permissions have a fail-safe installed to prevent duplicate purchases. You can see how many Sparks you have by typing /sparks balance You can see who has the most Sparks by typing /sparkstop Economy: Your CCD balance can be checked with /bank or /ccd balance You can see who has the most CCD by typing /ccd top or /mybal baltop The fighter job has been removed "Wood" blocks have been added to the Lumberjack jobs. They now count towards your progress. Job payouts for LumberJack, Hunter and farming have been adjusted Enderman, Pillagers and Zombified Piglins no longer count towards Hunter progress Server additions: Chat games have been added! Keep your brain muscles exercising with math questions, word unscrambling & riddles! Added new items that add a glow to your character (premium feature). Type /glowing to see the possible colors. Bug Fixes: Fixed some formatting issues & typos Finally patched the blank enchant book bug for Wind Burst. All blank books should be fully functional now, thank you for your patience!
